Exhibitions
The North Shore Art League is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the human spirit and the life of its community through art education and exhibitions. Our national fine arts juried show, Art on the Plaza is held each summer at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette. The dates for our 2010 show are June 12th & 13th. If you are interested in displaying your works in Art on the Plaza, the entry form is available for download here.
Another stellar art event, the Members Art Show occurs in September, featuring works of our member artists and faculty whose talents and support have sustained the organization for more than 84 years. The show is open to all current North Shore Art League (NSAL) members 18 years and over, and faculty working in any medium. Applications for the Members' Art Show are available in late June each year.
The League exhibits artwork from its children’s classes each spring at our “Kids Show”, as well as eight smaller exhibits throughout the year. Artists’ receptions are held to celebrate the opening of each show – a great chance to meet the artists, be among the first to see the works and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Please join us!

Artists' Opening Reception and Benefit Party including Art-in-Bloom: September 11th, 6:30-9:30pm
Be among the first to browse the outstanding fine art and be amazed by floral interpretations of selected works by renowned local garden club arrangers and florists. An exciting silent auction will also highlight the evening.
Show open to the public: Sunday, 9/12 through Saturday, 9/18 - 10am-3pm weekdays, 9/16 open late until 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays, noon-3pm.
