Exhibitions
The North Shore Art League is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the human spirit and the life of its community through art education and exhibitions. Our national fine arts juried show, Art on the Plaza is held each summer at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette. The dates for our 2011 show are Saturday, June 11th, 10am-6pm & Sunday, June 12th, 10am-5pm.
Another stellar art event, the Members Art Show occurs in September, featuring works of our member artists and faculty whose talents and support have sustained the organization for more than 84 years. The show is open to all current North Shore Art League (NSAL) members 18 years and over, and faculty working in any medium. Applications for the Members' Art Show are available in late June each year.
The League exhibits artwork from its children’s classes each spring at our “Kids Show”, as well as eight smaller exhibits throughout the year. Artists’ receptions are held to celebrate the opening of each show – a great chance to meet the artists, be among the first to see the works and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Please join us!

'inchworks' Show - Reception to be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Will hang through January 10, 2012.
Our popular, 5th Annual Show featuring works no larger than 144 square inches. Applications will be available soon.

Throughout the year, NSAL sponsors art displays for its members and the community free of charge. These exhibiitons are
hung in the main floor gallery at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln in Winnetka. Feel free to give us a call to inquire about dates that may be available for your own private show!
