Welcome...The art community we have fostered here for over 94 years is alive and well! It is a community full of rich experiences, shared passions, creative conversations and special connections through the offering of art classes, exhibits, workshops, lectures and special arts events in Winnetka.

Our community doesn’t happen on a screen, it happens when we talk to each other at an exhibit; it happens when we get messy in a class; it happens when we sit around a table together to work on projects; it happens when we meet new friends at League events.

We welcome you to our studios and galleries anytime – we’d love to see you! We invite you to explore our adult art classes and art classes for children.

The paintings on view are all recent works done by the students of Nancy Behles.
The breadth of subjects are as varied and vibrant as is each artist’s painting style.
Behles’ approach to teaching allows each individual student to explore the path to a successful outcome while investigating compositional elements; such as color, texture, line and form, as well as, color mixing, brushwork, and knowledge of materials.
